How to care for my new scooby?
I've gone and bought myself an 03 WRX Prodrive. Thanks to GaztheHat, Silent running, v5 man, alloy, fitzscoob and Awd Chaddy for the help an advice you gave me while i was on the hunt. Cheers lads.
Now i have got my new toy, what do i have to look out for and what do i need to do to keep it in top from?
It is at 24k miles at the mo so the 30k service is not far off.
Is it worth extending the warrenty?? It just sounds like a lot to me (£550 for 12 months cover).
Any advice would help this (newly poor) man out?
Cheers all
Glen

Hi Glen and welcome to scooby ownership
I will probably get flamed for this but
You won't need a knocklink
A good bit of advice I will suggest is regular services, more so oil changes.
I am a firm believer in looking after the oil in the engine, above and beyond the recommended guidelines.
Hoping you have a as many miles trouble free scooby ownership as I have.

Hope your enjoying the motor, get some pictures up in the gallery
Personally I wouldn't extend the warrenty as i'd get the itch for more power before the dealer warrenty ran out . It depends on where you can see things going and whether the quest for more power will set in or the sensible head says protect the investment
As for looking after it, check oil levels regulary and thats about your lot!! Keep the paintwork clean and the wheels all shiny and enjoy the thrills and avoid the spills
