Default Hello To Everyone

Hello,

Just thought I would say hello to everyone and post my first message.

Im currently looking to buy an impreza turbo and looking to spend around 5-7K, but im slightly confused about the diffirent models and have a few questions around this.

What does everyone recommend that I purchase for 5-7K and what is the difference between a WRX Turbo and the Impreza Turbo 2000 AWD. The models ive looked at are around a S plate for the money.

I read a couple of threads that a lot of the WRX's are jap imports in which I realy want to avoid.

I used to own a civic type-R but had to sell and really wanted an Inpreza that would out run my old Type-r buddies. I do remeber that the Turbo 2000 AWD was not as quick as my Civic once on the move, so what sort of mods could I do, that would spank some Honda butt.! lol

Any advise would be aprreciated.

Ps Cant wait to meeting everyone at the meets !

Hello from another newb. Do what I did and look into it for six months so you know how many different sorts there are, then try and find an unmodified reasonably priced one, fail and buy something else. I'm not bitter, honest.
