Question Wolf in Grannies clothing?

Hello all, long time lurker - first post. (be gentle)

Been looking for an Impreza for a while and have slowly come to realise that I'll get:

a) harrassed by Novas et al. when pottering about

and

b) get the damn thing stolen/keyed etc. as I tend to park in stupid places.

both of which have left me feeling rather deflated until someone suggested a B4 RSK. Would one of these be as tweakable as an Impreza and are they similar enough so the usual suspects would be able to mod them as effectivley?

If anyones got/had one then a second opinion would be much appreciated...
I quite like the idea of having a standard (non-Arian) Q-car which can be devastating when needed, but non-descript otherwise...

Any steers appreciated

Get an Impreza, I've had mine them for 7 years and never get raced by Novas and have never had them keyed.

Then again I don't drive round town aimlessly for hours on end on a saturday evening.

A scooby wagon can be a bit of a "sleeper". Especially from the rear. When parked "nose in" no one notices it.

Had my Wrx for 16 months and never had a problem. I guess it depends on where you drive it, where you park it and how you drive. I've left it in town car parks (Watford of all places) and on main roads. The only scrapes and scratches I've got are accidental ones in Tesco car parks!

As for being harrassed on the road, if you don't want to play, don't play. I've had far less hassle than I expected, though possibly due to the fact I've got a silver WRX rather than a stickered-up blue n gold STi.

Maybe we need a poll, who's had trouble and what part of the country?

Me, in Hertfordshire, no problems.

Get some kind of VAG product with the 2.0T lump and just remap new exhaust and some new rims and suspension upgrade and your sorted.

Hoping not to have my first scooby keyed or stolen. Thought they were hard to steel ? ..........still, what will be, will be. BTW, can find many others cars to play with .. waiting for a leon cupra r who i see a lot weaving in & out of cars.........perhaps ill just keep him in the outside lane for a while to teach him a lesson .......Have a MY52 STI (Blue & gold) no stickers. .What does the prodrive version mean ? different suspension settings ?
