as for your exhaust question, it'll be a little louder with next to no real performance gain. the downpipe replacement is where the real funs at

when i did mine i went down the same route as you, b/box then centre pipe and finally the downpipe. out of the 3, the centre pipe had the least noticeable difference, but for sake of £80 or whatever they are nowadays, why not?

the beauty of changing std scooby exhausts is the burble becomes more noticeable if you ever needed an excuse to do it, that's it

Dont forget to inform your insurance co of the change though otherwise they can do you for not declaring modifications and invalidate your insurance (may be better to see if its worth going the full hog and doing the entire exhaust )

I did mine at power engineering, went from 272 bhp to 288 bhp, so it does add a a little power. I found it too loud in the car, 75mph on the motorway became annoying. I now have a resonated centre section, which has the box, but no cat. Still passes the MOT and same power, but nice and quiet inside.

Just seen a magnex decat centre for £65 from power engineering , but its the 1 without a box. Would that make it alot louder than the one with the resonator or will it effect emmisions even more?
