Video hosting help..?
I've been trying to get a few video clips up on SN but not havong much luck..!

You could try another host for the videos like Zippyvideos or Streetfire, I sometimes have problems uploading files that work fine on other sites. If all else fails try Google Video that always seems to work...
Sorry if this is not the help you are looking for I have no idea why your putfile links don't work - but they certainly don't. I regularly host videos up to 150mb on the first 2 sites and there is no limit on Google.
