Hello fellow sooby fans,
Iam trying to see if there is any interest in
having Subaru related logos on yr (nokia) mobile phones?
Its in the early stages of development at the moment & iam after feedback fom fellow owners.
These logos replace the boring operator logos ie Orange,One2One & are only availible for Nokia mobiles at the moment, these are also intended to make the scooby owners phones stand out from the crowd just like their cars!
If there is any interest i would like to know what u would like, ie WRX,STI etc...
Any comments,feedback or suggestions would be most welcome.

and now have the subaru logo on my nokia phone,but now i cant get rid of it!
even the phone dealers dont know how to
remove it!

I am a little confused - do you need the nokia data suite (with cable) or not?? I dont mind paying the shareware fee but do not want to buy the £80 ish data suite!

 

Could you post a picture of the various logos available and state what needs to be done to get the logos?

Morning all!

Two things are needed for logo design and upload to your moby.

1. Nokia datasuite which has the connection and software.

2. Two programs - Operator designer and Operator Uploader whcih are on the site

 

I've got the RB5 logo on mine - ScoobyNet guy sent it to me - it's great!

 

There Is A Program Out Called SMART SMS,

Find It On The Net It Will Allow You To Send Logos & Toons To Your Phone For Free. i Think The Program Is shareware.

If You Cannot Find It I Will Email You The Program, I Have Some Scooby Logos As Well

I can send anyone with a nokia phone the logos as follows,a pic of an impreza with 555 logo,STI,Prodrive,Subaru logo

and also can send ring tones selected phones only (nokia)

I use LogoManager (www.logomanager.co.uk) - top piece of software, only £17, free updates. Send logos and ringtones to your nokia for the price of an SMS, or for free via IR.

I created the RB5 logo for anyone thats interested

It is possible to buy just the data cable supplied with the Data Suite from some suppliers which will let you upload logo's/tones etc to your phone from your PC. If you use a search engine like Yahoo just type in "Nokia Data Cable" and you should get a fair few matches...(understatement of the century )

To be honest though - I looked into buying a data cable before for my 7110, and it's not really worth it - they're generally around £30 and there's enough bits of software around now which will send logos/tones by SMS to warrant not needing one - as mentioned by Jase555 - Smart SMS is a good programme where you just send them to yourself via the web .

What number do i need to dial from my computer with one of these programs, so i can upload a logo?

I tried about a month ago with the cellnet dial up number (+44 860 980480) and although it connected and did all the handshake stuff, the logo wouldn't upload. Does Cellnet support sending graphics in SMS?

 

The logos are in a .nlm format, so I don't know if they can be displayed on the BBS like jpgs. Email me your number and network provider and I'll send it. I assume you have a Nokia capable of displaying new logos ?

 

I have SUBARU - across the screen from Dialaring . Also have the airwolf tone

I got a data cable and logomanager, software allows mne to create, edit, logos and tones, also allows me to back up my phones memory (7110, including the multi number and text stuff you can use on the phone memory) and setup, from the sim and phone memory, all the logos and phone settings, you can do it bt IR as well, but i kept getting comm errors using that !
