MY03 STI Back box.

MY03 STI Back box.
I have had my STI for a month now and after owning a Bugeye WRX i am very impressed with the car except for one niggling thing.
My old Bug had an after market exhaust system fitted which made a great burble sound, my new car is a bit of a let down on that front.
I'm assuming its fitted with the standard back box as it says STI on the tail pipe.
I am therefore looking for a replacement back box to give me the good old Scooby burble again
Can anybody advise :
1. The best box to go for
2. How much it's likely to cost including fitting
I live in the North East so somewhere local would be great. (Middlesbrough/Newcastle)
Cheers
Nik

have a look in the for sale section here. any new age bb will fit & iirc the TSL ones fit either newage or classic's. I have the PPP one on mine with straight thru centre section & thats about right for me.

I can recommend a TSL Group n with 4" tail pipe, lovely burble at low revs and sounds evil when you depress the loud pedal and get on boost!!
follow the link for more info

Theirs loads more out there and no doubt you will get loads of recomendations, for me though the Group N has the irght balance of Burble, great sound when moving at a fair rate of knots and is not overly expensive but is very well constructed.
Try getting to a local meet and see / listen to what other owners have fitted to their scoobs, at the end of the day it is personal prefrence.

Have a look around for a Prodrive back box , the type they put on the back for the performance pack (ppp) , should give it that burble back without knocking out your fillings . They pop up in the for sale section , or there are usually some on ebay to be had for under £100 when people upgrade their ppp set up .Try a search on ebay using 'prodrive exhaust ' and 4 should come up at the moment.
ps It'll keep your warranty intact too if you've got some left on it
