What is the difference between a standard UK classic and an STI?
As per title. I have always wondered what is needed to convert a standard UK classic to a STi. Is it just the gearbox and engine or is it more involved than that?
I am guessing there are suspension mods as well and maybe a different ECU but are these swappable betwen the two different models? I quite fancy the idea of a sleeper and it would be quite easy to get parts from a breakers yard.
Not a serious consideration but someone must know the answer.
Thanks in advance.

Lots of stuff, just some:
Forged Engine internals
Bigger turbo
Better intercooler
Different ECU map (differnt fueling, higher rev limit)
Different Heads
Differnet Suspension (shocks, springs and i think they have alloy arms)
2 POT rears
Alloy Bonnet (i think)
Uprated Clutch
Diferent Gearbox
