hey all...

im looking to chop my current motor in soon and upgrade to an STi, but in all honesty, i havent got a clue what mines worth and would be grateful for a few ballpark figures from anyone in the know...

my current motor...i am the third owner

MY02 WRX PPP in WR blue
a little under 40k miles
FSSH, just had the 40k service
morrette headlight conversion
18" prodrive UK300 wheels in black/anthracite
carbon dash/facia trim
momo airleather gearknob
other minor mods inc. smoked side repeater lenses & carbon wing trims
very good condition
bought in sept 04 for 14k

based on the above, what could i reasonably ask for it...?

I've just been offered 10k for my 03 STi so even 9 might be a bit OTT, 10k is maybe a bit shy of what it is worth but not by much. They are making a lot less than book in a lot of places and yet just occasionally there seems to be the right person for the right car and traders can push them out at a good profit.

I reckon 9k might be a bit optomistic , just sold my 04 ( 53 reg ) STi Type UK , 37k miles , totally standard , had to give up in the end and accept £12.5k for it

have a look on the auto trader web site, see what others are at.. feels like £8.5-9.5k to me..
