Default oil

This has probably been asked already but what engine oil is best to use on the classic uk turbos

A 10W-40 semi-synthetic.

No, i did have one but is has done a disapearing act on me and i only got the car on sat .
some mobil1 stuff good enough for the job?

If it's standard and used as per Subaru's recommendations then use the oil recommended in the handbook or it's cheaper and equally adequate equivalant in Halfords etc. If the cars been modded and subjected to more extreme treatment then both Motul and Silkolene produce quality oils.
