I think men that dress as women are fine as entertainment, but I certainly wouldn't like to see them at a strip thing.
Each to their own though.

Glad to see im not the only one, hoping to take the new scoob up (if i can find one by then!).
Used to frequent the dragsterworld.com forums until they got shut down
One thing i have always wanted to see is the Street Eliminator cars when they go out on the 'cruise', i can imagine peoples faces as a dozen or so 1200+ HP road legal v8 hot rods cruise past

Crazy,
You're not the only one. I love going to the drags, just have trouble getting time to go up there. Whats the camping situation at the pod these days..? Remember last time I went, the field was seriously muddy.
Nothing like the sound of a V8 on full nitro fuelled throttle. That cackle at idle is something to be in awe of. Love it so much I've got a 468ci '59 Chevy truck as my weekend toy hoping to run it at either Avon Park Hot Rod Drags or maybe a RWYB at the pod. Runs on normal petrol rather than nitro tho..lol!!!!
Never seen or heard anything else that would blur my vision whilst I stood on the spectator bank as it streaked off up the track.
Oh, and here's a little clip of the Winged Express for you.
Turn up the volume and scare everyone in yer house....

Enjoy.

I remember going to goodwood a few years back on a works do, no-one had ever seen or heard these monsters and as they started one up everyone gathered round, as soon i heard the engine note switch and start to get nasty as the nitro was introduced i advised fingers in ears, needless to say they didnt listen and when the throttle blip came everyone jumped back and nearly crapped themselves....hehe

Talking of SE, didnt TOTB have some SE cars in once, when it was on a ****ty bumpy lane of a track.
ANY of those SE cars would take the Top speed and 1/4 mile trials with ease!

I think it was the Easter meeting last year I went too. It was my first time at the Pod and when the top fuel cars came out jesus christ!!!!!! they are certainly an eye opener.
Ended up going back another time or two last year when the top fuel cars were there, those things are just mental
If there is anyone who hasn't been.... then go!!! even if you think it might not be your thing, if you go when the top fuel cars are there you will not be disappointed....... well as long as it's not raining
