man if the evo X looks anything like the pictures and they sort out that gay 4,500 mile service interval, i will be GUTTED i bought a new WRX 4 months ago.
awesome is the only word. that said the S204 would be very nice too
currently i'm doing almost 2000 miles a month, but come the end of march i will be down to a 8 mile round trip a day and on more money. It would have put a nice shiny new evo in my grasp in fact. what a lovely thing hindsight is
on the positive side, just think of what will happen to Evo IX prices when the X comes out- they'll have to give 'em away

If they do bring it to the uk it will kill the only reason worth getting it in my opinion.
As mentioned the main plus point of these at the moment is the exclusivity - with only 1 or 2 in the country there's a lot to be said for the residual value and kudos.
Anymore than that though and it'll be just like the WR1, desirable but not really worth the premium, especially with dubious improvements in performance and handling over a similarly priced spec c or even Type 20/25.
...but the seats are nice I must say

Exactly the same thing that will happen to current Impreza prices when the new model is launched!

If you acutally read it, it says this:-
"The news was delivered at the launch of the latest addition to STi's growing stable, the limited-edition S204. Set to arrive in the UK as a grey import, the S204 is said to have the power and the pedigree to make the company's latest dream come true."
This car has been out for a while, released Jan06? but its a JDM only car, not a uk one.
