Question Best Gearbox oil for my 05 WRx?

Hi all,
Sorry to ask a question that's been possibly asked many times before but can any one recommend a good oil for my 05 motor?
Plus has anyone else noticed how difficult it is to read the dipstick cos it runs off slightly when you pull it out?
Any advise would be appreciate.

Is what I use ..... absolutely fine as well.

Syntrax is highly recommended too ........ but be prepared to be shafted on the price

Thanks for your help.
Do you get any problems reading the dipstick? Or is it just me.

Subaru advise you don't mix different brands of tranny oil so it can be difficult to know what to top up with. Best pop to your dealer and see if they'll stick a drop in FOC.

However, it is difficult to read dipstick esp. as oil is clear, but as long as there is some on it you should be ok, or so my dearler told me..! Min to max is only 300ml..!

You want to try taking it with an STI tmic fitted..!
