Dealer "nails"

Dealer "nails"
Am looking forward to the prospect of coming back to Scooby ownership after 5 years away (an E36 M3 and 2 M Coupes).
Visited 2 Subaru dealerships this weekend to look at and test drive WRX wagons (pref with PPP) and was really disappointed with the cars in stock.
Allegedly prepped for sale, all had mixture of scuffed interiors, chipped and scratched exteriors and one today even had an off-centre steering wheel (it was actually the best of the lot to look at). Looking at the front tyres, one was bald on the outside with loads of tread on the inside. Hmmm.
Not meaning to rant, just thought that they'd try a little harder. One of the salesman said "you wont find better - wagons harder to come by...blah blah"
Going to try the private route instead.
Cheers,

They want to get the cars in and punt them on doing the minimum amount of work to them theirselves. Point all the issues out and you may get them done......personally I think there are more than enough good private sales around to worry about dealers.

Not a surprise, I went to a well known and respected (by people on here -NOT respected by me one little bit now) specialist on here to see one of their non-subaru vehicles.
Not only did it have 20K miles more than advertised it was in a sorry state for a car described as immaculate. Why do these people waste others time like that? Surely nobody is stupid enough to buy one of these crocks of sh1te?

Nope and as they are held in such high regard here I won't be naming them for fear of getting flamed. Just don't believe anyones rep is my advice.
