Hi,

Didn't get a response when I put this in "technical section".

Could someone let me know which transmission oil to put in my uk wrx my2000 bugeye wagon.

The owners manual is vague, Halfords say check owners manual, and my local Subaru dealer does not stock transmission oil, if you can believe that !!

Not sure whether to use synthetic, semi, mineral, etc. It's just a top up so I don't want to mix, and don't know what will be in there at the moment.

go onto www.opieoils.co.uk they'll recommend one to you. either that or pm oilman. they have a members section so you'll be able to get a good discount. if you go on the web site to get their number and call them they'll help you over the phone too if you prefer.

How desperate?

If you need to pop to Halfords tonight then get Castrol driveline 75w90 which is a semi, Subaru reccommend 75w90 and I believe they use semi.
