Default Tyres

I have a 05 WRX , can anyone tell me the best tyres to get that don't cost an arm and leg . I must point out I have already done 9000 miles since Sept to which I drive the car quite aggressively , any advice would be appreciated .

Thanks

i've been going with toyo proxes on mine and they seem to do the trick pretty well mate.. but mines a classic.. imagine they'd still be good on all models though...

RE070's are a great tyre for the summer, but I hibernate mine through the wet/icy months. I'm currently running Toyo's (weren't my choice, came with a set of blagged wheels) which seem very good I must say. Personal preference is for Vredestein UltraC though. A full set can be had for IRO £280-300 and their wet performance is up there with Eagle F1's, but their dry weather grip I would judge to be 85% of the RE070's, if Toyo's were 70%, if you get my meaning. Stunning tyre for the money. If you can get to Tyres 4 Less in Armley, Leeds, then you will get great trade prices if you take them away for fitting elsewhere.
