I'm impressed at your concern for the welfare of the fellow road user you trashed. Have you noticed how you've reduced the accident that YOU caused into some kind of vague interaction between two inert lumps of metal? And that your only concern in this is how it directly affects yourself financially?
Unfortunately, the "restart game" prompt doesn't pop up in real life you fecking selfish bell-end.

nothing really was it?? one seconds lapse could be the death of someone
one second at 00 mph could be the differance between life and death.
you lost a bumper bonnet and wing, and wrote off another car, with a minor impact??
would hate to see the carnage if you had been going at speed

get real,,,, its relative, i struggled to insure a 1300 when i was 17 and that was only £80 a year tpft ffs
even now i i pay way over the odds, compared to what some of the others pay
and i dont run the scoob any more.
Frankly i,m more surprised that knowing the costs and the risks involved, you didnt treat the scoob with a bit more respect.

I feel for your loss Daz. But everyone is ok and you'll have other cars.
However, it is well documented that AWD cars understeer (perhaps) moreso than front wheel drive in some conditions. We only get more grip after the apex, if we get that far.
Sadly these luverly motors of ours are so expensive to insure because if a loon gets hold of one it's the amount of damage thay can do to others with 2lts of turbo under a twitchy foot.
You have your health and love of great cars, and i hate to say it (cos it makes me sound old at 30), youth on your side to rebuild your car collection.
Enjoy whatever you drive, but always have ambition to improve.
All the best for '06.
Lexx.

Mine has 3k + damage. Bumper in half, bonnet gone and wing. All the solid structure behind the bumper is shot too. Still drives though thank god. The only problem is now, im only 23 and ive got 5 years no claims, they are now no more, i loose 3. They wouldnt let me protect my no claims because of my age so when its up for renewal in 8 months my pride and joy has to go. Im GUTTED>
Is there ANYTHING i can do to save my scoob? Cant mend it my self because i also have to pay for his car.

To me it seems that you're gutted about smacking your car but not too concerned about the other chap who's 306 you destroyed.
As said before, these are not rally cars, they are no where near. If you were driving at '00 ish' mph then you should have been concentrating more than usual. There's a time and a place for fast driving and it's not on the roads. Try and get to a few track days to blow off some steam.
It's a shame about your car but you take your chances and live with your decisions. You'll get there.

sometimes NCD means jack all.
when i insured my old scoob i had 1 years ncd and got it for 980 odd quid.
when in fact i informed the insurnace company later that i had messed up and that i had 5 years NCD, the price didnt change at all
same with protected ncd. they will still want to know about any accidents youve had and will peanalise you anyway

oh dear...daz your gona gettin eatin alive old boy....
the reason insurance is exspensive as hell is because of what you just did.
and it continues on and on...and it why we all pay so much.
you ever thought that the old boy in the pug might have loved his car to bits..and worked hard to be able to have his car...
not everyone can afford a car...or even a sports car, come whatever it may be.
chill a bit bud...and dont post stuff like this..they'll chew you up and spit you out.
p.s i know daz.....nice enough blokey..just learning the hard way.
