Why is he deluded? His car has more power than the scoob. simple. One would assume his car is lighter and more agile and also a lot less transmission loses.

Now, who were you saying was deluded???

Wait until his mate kicks his **** down Santa Pod.

RWD 300+bhp MR2 with very slippy Santa Pod track = No traction at all.

Seen plenty of big powered RWD cars at Santa Pod this time of year struggle to get traction.

Don't know about delluded, but his mate is wrong when he says:

PS His car is unmodified but he has done some research and is sure to get to the same power levels as me he would have to spend a lot of money on engine management. I think the std boost on his car is already about 1.1 bar and he doenst think he can safely increase it anymore without a better ECU/fuelling/turbo.

Also subsequent posts (from other MR2 owners) refute his claims.

Mind you, they are mid-rear engined so all the weight over or near the rear wheels which'll help traction.

p.s. I'm taking as read the power graphs
