So its a UK Subaru Sport that had a 95 WRX turbo engine put in by a dealer? ....err, ok

....and dont forget that using a TD05 with a decat gets you 350bhp!!

1997/R?

Surely it should be a facelift model then?

Trust me, a UK Subaru dealer would not put a turbo engine into a sport.

has he not just put in a wrx engine? wouldnt he have to change the clocks anyway with the new engine as it was a very different powered car when it was a sport? just an idea

Where does it say a Subaru dealer put the engine in???...it doesn't!!!

All it says is it was bought from a UK dealer and was orginally a UK sport....anything could have happened to it between then and now (i.e engine swap)

It would need to be delimited...as the ECU is a jap one (even if it is in a UK car). May have replaced the speedo with a WRX one too along with the interior (for the red needles ).

Although why it has the pre-facelift front end may suggets it was a car involved in a light front end inccident used as a donor car for a wrecked WRX. (MY97 should be face lift, unless it was late registered). Or it was just swapped for the bonnet vents and scoop.
