Default Bugeye WRX seats

Did bugeye WRXs come with buckets as standard?

Our WRX came with buckets but I have seen plently of WRXs without them. Was there a certain date after which they were fitted?

IIRC you could choose either the buckets or if you wanted side airbags you opted for the 'sports' seats.

I've seen plenty of 'y' / 51 plate wrx's with normal seats.

Oh and AFAIK all wagons came with the buckets as standard, no option to have the sports seats and airbags..

Ok so side airbags were an option and if you selected them you got normal 'sports' seats?

The first ones in the UK had "sports seats" only. I think it took a while to get the buckets due to someone at IM cocking up and ordering the first batch without buckets. I had an MY01 with buckets before many in the UK as mine came from Belgium

Hi Steve

Yep...still got the bugeye

I guess your Clio Cup (which I think is the 182 clio with all the weight removed) would still beat me.....I think I just need to drive better LOL

Is it blue with 2 stripes

I've not done much since baby Dominic was born.....he's exactly 8 months old tomorrow

Hope you have settled in

Warmest wishes

Shaun

When I got my 02 new, it was definitely a no cost option of either take the buckets or the "sports" seats with side airbags. I went with the buckets.
