Are you running the original TD04 turbo ??

if so then probably 265 with (280 bhp tops if the FMIC can cool down the charge) as the TD04 turbo can't flow enough air.

I think WRX's run 380cc injectors, so I'm guessing not much more power out of them further before you'd need larger ones. Turbo depends on what kind of power/response you aspire to?

Have a word with someone like AndyF

I've actually been along to see andy a few months ago.. that 9second car of his looks immense, shame it was smashed up

I'll have a look around, the turbo is the main thing to upgrade i think.

cheers

Ive got 264bhp from panel filter, Magnex backbox and decat centre, Walbro fuel pump followed by an ecutek remap. Therefore I would think with a full decat, etc you should be looking at 280bhp+. I'm hoping changing my up and down pipes should get me to 280bhp (anyone?). (MY01 WRX)

Also, I'm sure the newage WRX's have 440 injectors?

My 04 WRX had 380cc injectors I replace them with brand new STi injectors for £300. and I also fitted a VF28 turbo which cost me second hand £250. Ive seen second hand Sti injectors on here go cheap, so might worth putting something up in the wanted section.

I'd speak to AndyF again but it looks like a change of turbo to an FE TD05 or a modified TD04 plus the injectors (and get the OE headers ported) should see you with 325 odd BHP and near on 300 Torque

Just need to make sure the plugs are OK, the hoses can take the strain and that the oil is up to scratch ......... believe me it never ends ....LOL
