Similar scenario, I went from a MGZS180 to a 05 wagon with PPP,,,,still get a massive buzz 10 months on, strange things are scoobs they are the only car that I enjoy more the longer I own it. I still adore it even though my house got raided 2 nights ago for the keys.

It is like my best mate!!!

Nope,

apparently white ones have slightly bigger turbos and are therefore that extra bit speedy......

I agree, the blue ones are faster, but only when its dark blue!!!!!!!
and this stuff i've heard about white ones with bigger turbos, my mate at subaru told me it was all a lie as no one wants a white one, so they had to come up with this so people would buy them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wife has exactly the same thing with her 01 WRX Wagon. She bought it from new and loves it, never kept a car as long as this one. She likes it even more since I bought her a Scoobysport exhaust for it .

Welcome to ScoobyNet
All discerning owners know that black scoobs offer not only the best performance but also improved mpg, better career prospects and naked sexual charisma ... the downside being you have to wash them every time you even look at the keys

Sorry to tell you, but you have made a huge mistake buying a Subaru.

It has been proven in these very pages the only thing your car is faster than is a ................... milkfloat (unladen).

You will probably find that the speedo on your car is faulty that why it seems quick.

PS - Welcome to the forum.

PPS Sonic Blue with two doors is the fastest combination, they can even match diesel Corsa's, but only in the "twistie's"

I've found that it I leave the beer and Maccie D's alone for a week I can pull away from Corsa Sxi's in the twisties too............

Thank god for the PPP........

Cashmere yellow ones are the quickest - they have shed the weight of the turbo, lighter = faster .

P*ss easy to find in the carpark too!

May well be changing to Black next/this year, probably due to there being so little competition in WRC they won't need to go as fast.

Or maybe Subaru are sick of selling so many blue ones and not enough of any other colour.
