Cool bit of advice

hello all,fab site apprecaite abit of advice plse own a 2000 awd 98 skuby, recently bought a hks Decat, would i be able to fit it straight away or would i need the car setting up after or be ok any help apprecaited thanks.

Sorry but the answer is probably "Yes" and maybe "No"

The answer can depend on many factors but generally O/K as the Classics were exhaust choked. But is better to have ECU remap to take into account of all Mods.

BTW is it UK/JDM? WRX/STi? car history standard or other mods? you may need a Engine checklight fix (little electronic gizmo to give false gas sensor reading IIRC )

Boost spikes/overboost can a BIG problem and detrimentle to the Engines health.

Invest in a boost gauge and or a AP preformance meter if going down the fit it and see route. Then you can check before and after mods. sometimes cars sound loads faster but in reality are going slower.
