2.5inc or 3inc system???
Hello all just a quick question,
What are the differences in performance (if any) when using a 2.5 or a 3.0 inc exhaust system??? not sure which one to go for??

I was told the difference is in the spool up time of the turbo + differences in BHP or ft-lb....
you trade either way - the bigger bore = bigger bhp while the smaller one = more torque?
Could have got it wrong tho....

Another "I was told"
If you replace standard system with a 3in and esp if you change the induction or fit an uprated panel filter you should really be looking at a remap too - maybe someone will confirm/deny ?

2.5'' will be better I think IMO, also seen dyno results at xtreme scoobies and tests theyve done with the 2. Three inch is better for bigger power and high speed runs. Apparantly its a common misconception.
I had a blitz 3'' full system and the car actually run seemingly a bit slower on the roads, but high speed motorway the thing was rapid once the standard centre and back box was on it is more pokey now.
