Looks great, problem being the insurance for me as I am only 23 I getted raped on the STi.
WRX TUrbo I can stretch to, but for some reason the extra bhp seems to add about 1.5k on the premiums.
One day, I will have one tho'

Check out the insurance section for good advice. A-Plan and Keith Michaels are the current favourites. You can save a wedge on Keith Michaels by becoming a member of the SIDC for 20 quid IIRC. The underlying fact that you are 23 will always hinder you for a couple more years though One day you'll be old like me and then you can insure mine for 630

Fair enough, tbh I seem to get a pretty sweet deal on my insurance though. I only have 1 years ncb because I started to drive late, but my MR2 is a group 16 on insurance and I only pay £850. Not bad to all accounts....

Hi mate,
I had a rev1 MK2 MR2 for 3 years and then bought another one and had that for year too. Great cars, still miss it somtimes.
You should get a wagon. I know they do not compare on looks but they are just as quick as saloons, most people don't rate them so you don't get too much attention unless you boot it and leave everyone behind, and they are insurance group 17. You should be able to get a reasonable one for £3K.
heres mine:

Yeah, I don't mind the wagons, but the g/f has something she doesn't like about them..............women eh?
I did test drive one and I must say it didn't seem too different to the saloon version, but I think personally I would rather have the saloon just for the looks (shallow I know!!!)
