we are looking to get a three point harness but are unsure what colour to get???
scooby is blue with the yellow ally graphics with blue front 555 limited edition seats in the front and black back seats.
which colour harness do you think would suit it best.... at the moment we are thinking wither blue or red.

Try wearing a harness before committing yourself. Youre better off with a seatbelt; a harness (even a decent one; and three point mounting harness are ****e) is more likely to contribute to your having an accident than it is likely to 'save' you in the event of an accident.
Bear in mind that a harness is useless in a non rigid seat too; in the event of an accident reclining seats commonly fail and lay back leading to all sorts of very unpleasant injuries.

I wore a harness for a while in my old classic, until I read somewhere that in the event of an accident, if you rolled, the harness actually would stop you from moving sideways, thereby crushing you
Rather an unpleasant way to go for the sake of the "rally look"
chris.

I only use mine for trackdays and didn't even consider the "image". Do people really buy harnesses to look cool .
FWIW I wouldn't be without them in terms of the connectedness and added support on offer when driving at 10/10ths. I'd be interested to see this report suggesting they are dangerous in certain conditions - many knowledgable people actively reccommend harnesses for trackdays, although perhaps the assumption is that they'll be used in conjuction with a fixed seat.
