to track or not to track?
i posted something similar a few weeks back after i had booked a novices track day at Brand Hatch.
I was a little concerned as to what i had let myself and my beloved scoob in for ..... but iam happy to report back my afternoon session was absolutley bloody fantastic and if anyone was wondering should i or shouldn't i .... then all i can say so is go for it ... your trust, belief and love for your car will just get a whole lot deeper
Brands Hatch afternoon session track day - £90
3/4 tank of fuel - £50
now need front tyres (but they where pretty well worn anyway) - £250?
satisfaction of owning and driving a scoob - absolutely priceless
... these cars are awesome ... IMO there is nothing else out there ...

Yeah I remember you were going. Try hiring a Caterham for the day with a mate next time. Book a tracl do it for about £500 a day and see how you enjoy that. At least you haven't gotta pay for new tyres, fuel or brakes that way
Glad you enjoyed it. I can't wait for my next track day

I am glad you used the advice offered to you wisely and that you had a cracking day out. I have had some great fun on the days I have done this year and I have already planned some for next. It does become an addiction!

Which scooby were you driving? I was down there with the 2 Escort Cosworths (with white wheels), my scooby was the silver one parked at the back of the garages.
Superb day, wish i'd booked some track time myself!!!!

Yeah absolutely great day and definately going on more next year. Would be good to go with a few others - got chatting to a guy with a classic (facelift i think) anyway it really helps to follow someone round and chat about it after.
1/2 a day was about right for me, i was knackered, and not to much damage (petrol/tyres/fuel) - didn't help i had a 90 mile trip home after though - slept for a week !
Floyd - i saw the thread for the Bedford Autodrome but could not see anything on the RSOC website - is the day still happening? ... and yes iam now after some fron tyres ... whats the deal then ?
Moley_WRX - i was in the black STi ('03)

Kechup, yes day still on. See 1st post on this thread http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...=456086&page=1
