A cheaper way to do it is to buy yourself a KnockLink so you can spot any det problems cheaper in the long run, I ran my Sti 4 like this not using any O/B for 3yrs before getting it mapped.

i use millers octane boost 3.50 on a full tank! (95wrx)

it runs a lot smoother and its a bit more responsive?

and as somebody has already said you may risk it going bang!

I was recently strongly advised not to use octane booster with optimax, due to the fact that it starts out as 95ron, and shell add o/b to up the ron on it, therefore any o/b that you put with it may actually react with the booster already in it, and may even lower the ron rating,.....

I ran a 93wrx on 97 esso super then optimax for nearly 5 years and then my STI 5 type r v-ltd on optimax for the last 2 1/2 years they never missed a beat.
Don't get drawn into all the internet miths. Also unless you run your tank empty everytime you wont get the correct mix with booster.
Cheers

All I know is, it pinks when it is being thrashed and has occasionally stopped boosting beyond 0.5 bar instead of the 1.0ish bar is usually goes to. But never had boost or pinking probs since adding octane booster.
