Default MOT advice please?

I have an MY02 WRX and I have a full de cat exhaust fitted. However Im going to have to get an mot for the car this year. What cats do I need to put on to insure it passes the MOT?

Does anyone know what the ruling about chips/cracks in the windscreen are, as I may also need to get this replaced for the MOT?

Thanks people...

Just one of the 3 cats should be ok to pass the MOT.

As for chips on your windscreen, they will fail the MOT if they are in your line of sight

Centre one is the easiest on and off.

Is your up-pipe decatted?
Some miss this one with a 'de-catted exhaust' silly really cos it's very restrictive.

Anyway, my point is if you still have this one fitted you may pass.

Up pipe is also decatted!

Regarding the windscreen are there different zones of vision ie. A and B? Or have I been mis-informed?

Thanks people!

I have a full decat system fitted to my 03 WRX. After fitting I took it to the local MOT station and he said that the emissions were still low enough for it to pass!!
Although I think he did say he could fail it for not having a CAT fitted.

Its not an mot failure not to have a cat fitted, Ive had several cars that have been fully decatted and still passed the emissions test, I asked the mot guy at last mot and he told me that there is no requirement for the car to actually have a cat fitted to pass an mot, if it passes the emissions test then it passes, simple as.
