As above chaps,

Did any newage impreza ever come with a trim panel to line the inside if the bootlid?

Im in the process of fittin my ICE install and want to clean up the inside of the bootlid.

If not what material can i use that will be flexible enough for me to cut out and form inside the bootlid without breaking and then it will be trimmed in acoustic carpet etc.

get some cardboard to make a template then cut it out of some mdf. a run down to the local car audio store should do the trick for some acoustic felt. bit of pva glue and roberts your mother's brother as they say. if you fit some spacers between 2 bits of mdf you'll be able to mount tv screens if that's what you're after.

i wonder how much call there would be for these? i could start to make some. i might have to give it a go for my classic and then find a guinea pig with a newage.

as soon as i get my classic back i'll make one up and then we'll see if it's any good for what you want and we can make you one. if we get brave we can get some custom pods made up for some speakers to go either side of the screens.

don't go for f&f myself. perfer films with some proper driving in like bullet.

going back to the topic though i think the reason why they don't come with these is to save on weight. anyone else agree?

Don't want the screens myself, just prefer the 'finished' look the panel gives the boot.

Cheers fozz they look pretty sweet, but i want somethin that covers the reat section too ie, where the boot lock is if ya get what i mean.
