Question Help on PX prices please

What is a R reg silver WRX Wagon (jap import) with 3 owners, 71000 miles some fairly ok service history.
17" oz supers Legs in anthracite
Dump valve
quick shift
turbo timer
F/R strut braces
Samco hose kit
Eagle F1's
STI light covers
STI rear lights
STI suspension

looks very tidy with only a scuff on the wing mirror. I need a price from you as if you wanted to sell it and not hold onto it. The guy wants to px it against my V7 STI Wagon, but it's not a px i want to keep, just off load it fairly quickly. As i am buying another car.

I would say no more than £5000 tops! if he wants your motor and you want a quick sale at this time of year. IMHO

Scoobs are a sod to sell at the moment - I wouldn't touch it with a 10ft battle lance
You would be left with another Scoob that's relatively more difficult to sell.......

(all IMHO, of course)

70k miles is the average mileage for that car year so I presume it a 1997 R plate. the book price for this car as a trade in is £3750, allowing for mods, I would say £4000. you have to remember you are doing him a favour as its not something you really want and its a buyers market when it comes to cars at the minute.

I used november 2005 CAP Black Book for the price.

depends on price? to get a sale on a more expensive car it might be easier to find some with 10k cash and a car, than say someone with 15k cash. You have to be ready to take any deal if you are trying to sell at the mo. If you do take a px i would want to give a trade price, as shifting the motor you have taken in does not want to be highly priced

It doesnt matter what mods it has mods are worth nothing. People will see it as another average mileage r reg import wagon, so its worth the same as all the other average mileage import wagons of that age. Personally i wouldn't take it as a px

Wouldnt touch it. I have just sold my UK car similar spec with slightly higher mileage but full Subaru service history for £4000. It took 4 months to sell
