engine light
will putting a HKS BOV cause my engine light to come on? i've had it on for about 3 months now, but light only started to come on.
at 1st the light will only come flashing on after driving over 3.5k revs for a period of time, releasing the accelertor and driving below 2.5k revs for 10mins and it will be ok again.
but last night, the light came on perminantly
any ideas?
car still has warranty, but should i remove the BOV 1st?
please no posts from peeps who is going to start having a go at me for having a BOV.

If the car is in warranty then yes, remove the VTA BOV and get it checked ASAP. If the CEL flashes it tends to be serious, a static one is usually just an exhaust sensor or similar. Straight to the dealer keeping well under boost, and on the way, revell in how much better the car runs with the OE DV on
