I live in Sweden and we drive on the right side 
I have current a RHD type r version 5, but I want to upgrade it!
Also the 2.5 has always been a favorite
So what do you think are they common on UK?

My '02 WRX is a USDM car.
Do you know and Americans that are stationed here or friends that work on any of the military bases? If so you may be able to find a USDM STi that way. There are several here on RAF Lakenheath.

There is no such thing as USDM. JDM refers to Japanese Domestic Market; the domestic market is Japanese because the cars are Japanese..........

LOL really? So would a Corvette just be a US car and not USDM? Really get your facts straight. The 'DM' in JDM is not Japanese specific....... LOL

Im going to explain this again using small words so that the intellectually challenged can understand. JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market; with me so far? Subaru are a Japanese manufacturer, so Japan is their Domestic Market. They can only have one Domestic Market; every other market is a foreign one. The acronyms EDM & USDM were made up by people who did not understand what JDM meant.
BVM: Im going to point out what a **** you are again here because Im not in the mood for an ignorant f*ckit coming the c*nt with me. Corvettes are manufactured by General Motors, an American company; so obviously their home market cars could be referred to as USDM but what the f*ck does that have to do with Subarus?

Well there is also the fact that General Motors has a significant interest in Subaru and the design of Subarus is very heavily swayed towards NA as well as models being manufactured there. It all leads to a market definition that may well be paradoxical.
I suspect it is not an oxymoron however as an oxymoron is a paradox which used intentionally for rhetorical effect. In this case I do not believe it was used intentionally.

Yes, you can import a US car into the UK - you pay import duty (10% I think) plus VAT (17.5%). Iain Litchfield (www.litimports.co.uk) will no doubt be only too happy to assist, he brings in plenty of cars from the US and I know he's sold them to people in mainland Europe.
They're not common in the UK because they're LHD only - most people who import cars bring in Japanese models (for the superior spec) or European RHD (cheaper than UK for identical spec) instead.

Duty differs depending on the item being imported and the coutry from which it is coming. Japanese imports attract Duty at a rate of 10%. The combined Duty and VAT may be less if you import the car directly into Sweden, if it isnt then you can pay all duties here; then import the car to Sweden when its in free circulation.
