And when you do it in GT4 the way the road unwinds is absolutely manic, like on fast-forward. It doesn't seem like it would be possible to do it for real - and somebody just did !

.....I think they need to new class.

The "Road legal race cars" record!

....or cars that you would drive there for a weekend with passenger and luggage, and one you would tow. A fine achievement never the less.

I’d drive it there for the weekend with luggage etc dave, as I used to with my Westfield, it depends how hard core the driver is to determine what would be towed or driven, not necessarily what the car is.

If it's a road legal production car then it's a fair record IMHO, it's certainly slower than what an out and out race car could produce these days.

How hardcore....or how stupid I would probably attempt a trip in it, but I bet I wouldn't to it again! Nor would I exit the E40 at Eupen ...nor would I want to do it in the rain.

I just see it a a different class of car to say a GT3, M3 CSL. It's not a road car that goes around a track fast (GT3, CSL), its a race car, that happens to be road legal (although I bet it would never get a TUV), and it does what a race car should do GO FAST!

I am not rubbishing ther record, but to call it a production car is pushing it a bit.

That takes some awesom driving to do that.Cant wait to see the vid either.

Been round Goodwood in my friends Hayabusa powered one-i cant even imagine what the v8 one would be like.
In reality, they're far to focused to be a "road car",even if you do adjust the suspension to suit!!!
