Default just picked up my new scooby

well got in about 5 mins ago from picking the scoob up looks nice all shiny and clean, not for long though.
the car looks better than i remembered,
but is it right for the car to idol at 6000 rpm? when still?
it isent moving about but sits still at 6000rpm

either your larking around or you mean 600 rpm not 6000.
then yes mines around 600 rpm on idle and you think its going to konk out
but thats what its meant to be

yes i mean 600 sorry about that, lol
yes i thought it was going to stall, but it doesent so this is normal to idol lower than other cars

A normal idle is 800 rpm.

now where talking, yes it will sit around there, sounds nice and lumpy if you have a beffy exhaust on, but yes 600 ish is good

Mine sits at about 700rpm, most cars sit at about 750-800. Can't see that it being lower is a problem at all

yes it has the prodrive exhaust on sounds nice and meaty, purrs nice,
did i read somewhere that if u can hear a sound like when u blow over the top of a bottle then there is something wrong?
i sometimes hear it on the car i noticed tonight. is it normal or should i take it back to the garage?

That sounds like it's a faulty dump valve. It's not supposed to sound like that. Take it back to the garage and tell them.

I would get someone who knows about scoobies to drive it for a little while. They should be able to point out if anything is wrong.
