subverbal:
You get issues of True Grip magazine, membership card, stickers, tax disc holder (which you MUST use ) umm, flyers for events if there are any, and, umm, well, I think that's it.

Think that with the leaving of Dick Grimes the courses are now dead, but that's my take on the situation. Best bet would be to email the SIDC peeps directly to see what is going on.

Couldn't see the answer to these questions on the SIDC site......

1. What exactly do you get for your money ? Any cool stickers etc ???
2. Looking at the trackday event list it seems pretty sparse to say the least (Scotland aside). What's the outlook for the future, which tracks may be on the cards ??
3. Noticed for Brands on the 27th October you need trackday insurance. How much is this and where can it be obtained from (my insurers would have a fit, and a big one at that) ??

Posted on here rather than emailing SIDC as the info may be of interest to other folk.

Cheers,
Neil.

As already mentioned, the joining pack comprises of several stickers, tax disc holder, copies of 'True Grip' and your membership card.
You then receive quarterly editions of 'True Grip' and are able to take part in all SIDC activities throughout the year. Not bad for £20!
Whilst track days have been fairly sparce this year for one reason or another, next years calendar will be full . There is nothing arranged yet as we have to wait for all the circuits to set their race dates before we can book anything.
We have an upcoming event at Donno in November which will be announced soon, so send your form off now!
There will also be lots of other events besides track days, including holidays, rallies, karting, etc.
Future driving course details have yet to be discussed by the committee.

Smile

You also get discounts (typically 10% to 15%) at many dealers.

Easily worth twenty notes membership!
