Default Paint advice please!!

Have a 95 JDM Wagon, and some of the laquer on the bonnet has started to dissappear in small patches. Started around on of the front vents, and has now started happening on the scoop. Now I know it is an old beast and paint flaws should be expected, but does anyone know how to stop it, or hide it ;-). Presume it needs respaying?

Thanks all

Roly

Started hasppening on my '98 UK car scoop last winter. Got it resprayed this last July, good as new again, cost me £30, the guy had the paint in stock.

According to the bodyshop, respray is the only way forward.

You can cut costs by taking the parts off yourself though and refitting when done, takes around 20 minutes all up.

I covered the bonnet with a cheap (Screwfix) blue tarp when the bits were off, held down by closing the bonnet on it.
