Smile 199.4 MPH and improving !

Today we had a Scoob v EVO shootout at Bruntingthorpe proving ground.

It proved one thing, Scoobs are faster and more reliable than EVO's

Or at least they certainly were today.

Now, where can I find that last 0.6 mph

Nice one! I reckon if you tape up all the panel gaps etc. you'd probably top 200...

O.M.F.G 199.4 MPH , when you look at the aero dynamics of an impreza its even more impressive.
slipery shaped lambo with 500 + bhp is only just as quick.
( sitting here gob smacked )

good on ya fella

i think i read on here that the top mount intercooler can not get enough air via the bonnet scoop over 200mph

so you might need to fit a FMIC.....

Thanks guys

With hindsight I think the answer may have just been to let the 11 stone passenger out ! (at the slow end )

Andy, to get the record you would need to make two passes, one in each direction and then take the mean speed of those two runs over a 1km stretch...at least that what they were doing at the Option Speed Trials...

apparently paul wanted andy to brake as soon as possible due to subaru 2 pots being on the car!!!

Was a good day out.. could have been helped by bringing some beers.
