199.4 MPH and improving !
Was very entertaining being the co-pilot. As david says, the brakes didn't inspire massive confidence, however, just lifting off at that speed in a lightweight car means you slow down pretty quickly. Perhaps we could have slowed down quickly enough to make the first turn off, but it felt much safer using a little more of the runway to slow down.
Due the old age of the driver, and his partial sightedness, we braked too early on the first run, so the second run he kept it nailed. Signal to brake was me waving frantically after Andy made sure we went well through the timing lights at full throttle.

This in my mind makes anything that can exceed 180mph at Brunters an amazingly fast piece of kit, to get near enough 200mph is off the scale.
Incidentally, the Fensport Corrolla did 199.x two up and ditching the passenger allowed it to hit 200.3mph, so blame your passenger

LOL.
I'm sure the JUN STi3 in New Zealand didn't quite make 199mph, think it was the low 190's

To my knowledge, Andy's car is now the fastest recorded Subaru in the World 199.4mph, followed by Mark Aigin at 193.4mph.
Top day, and getting brake fade on the AP 6 Pots was entertaining for me
. How the **** you slowed down enough with the 2 pots i dont know.
I told you, you should have chucked Paul out

the 'real' white scoob with the timing gear was noticed some 50yds into my braking zone
Next run I was taken aback to find Pauls hand waving in front of my face and a loud STAAAAAAWWWWWWP wailed into the cabin
closely followed by NOOOOOOOOO don't try to turn
I think we were still doing circa 120mph at the proposed turnoff !Andy
