Default Sport to Turbo

Well, I sold me Sport a few weeks ago and am hopefully going to buy my first Turbo tomorrow!

So what in power increase should I expect ??

Depends which model you buy. I bought a standard MY01 bugeye WRX and even though its times are pretty much the same as the equivalent Classic, it doesn't 'kick' when the turbo cuts in.

I haven't driven a classic but I'm reliable informed that the power delivery is much smoother in the newage scoobs - some people on here prefer the old 'kick', some prefer the smoother delivery.

As I said, depends what you want and what model you buy........

All the same, GREAT feeling when the turbo's at full output and the tarmac's disappearing at a serious rate of knots!

You have to give the AWD credit for getting it off the mark quickly, but I would have expected 9.5. Could be wrong, though.

www.parkers.co.uk sets it at 9 so there

Mine timed on a stop watch at 8.4

I know the normal stuff to look out for, but are there any buying tips for Imprezas? like rust spots or cracked pipes ?
