My sport had a 0-60 of 8.4.. does the turbo really kick you back in your seat

Depends which model you buy. I bought a standard MY01 bugeye WRX and even though its times are pretty much the same as the equivalent Classic, it doesn't 'kick' when the turbo cuts in.

I haven't driven a classic but I'm reliable informed that the power delivery is much smoother in the newage scoobs - some people on here prefer the old 'kick', some prefer the smoother delivery.

As I said, depends what you want and what model you buy........

All the same, GREAT feeling when the turbo's at full output and the tarmac's disappearing at a serious rate of knots! :)

You have to give the AWD credit for getting it off the mark quickly, but I would have expected 9.5. Could be wrong, though. :)

I know the normal stuff to look out for, but are there any buying tips for Imprezas? like rust spots or cracked pipes ?

GC8 17 September 2005 11:37 AM

Look out for Burbery baseball caps; look out for dump valves; look out for people who thrap it from cold; look out for 95RON in imports; look out for copies of Lax Power..........
