Weight change
Can anyone tell me whether there is much of a weight change for the new MY06 model from the previous model? Is the 2.5 litre engine much heavier than the 2.0?

i asked this question before (more specifically just about engine weight) and was told that there is no significant different between the 2.0 and 2.5 litres.
The rest of the chassis etc may be a small change though, id expect the WRX to weigh in at abotu 1400 and the STI much the same at 1485 kerb weights..

Only a small weight change would be good, I think that around the 1500kg is heavy enough for a small sports minded car. Is the 2.5 mainly being fitted for emisions reasons? Is there likely to be much of a performance difference, I pressume there will be more torque thoughout the rev range?
