A word of warning !!! I used that Automec silicone based stuff in my VW Corrado and within 3 months the master cylinder had gone. I had it replaced and used normal DOT4 and it went again within 4 months. This time they gave it several flushes through and used fresh DOT4 and it has been fine for 3 years and 15k miles. I contacted the company and they ignored 5 letters. As I didn't have much evidence (the parts or professional inspections) I dropped it, but will strongly advise against the stuff. the 1st MC I could maybe put down to the 85k on the clock, the second becomes questionable, especially as since having a proper flush and resuming use of normal brake fluid it has been fine. IIRC on the packaging it states it is unsuitable for some vehicle types (namely Rolls Royces) but maybe it's not too good in VW's either.

Stick with the tried and trusted IMHO.
