Default Bugeye WRX CEL P0301 P0303 - misfire

Hi,

Bugeye WRX is mostly stock:
Prodrive sports cat downpipe, HnS 2.5" cat back, KN Panel filter. Just over 100K on the clock.

For a few weeks I have had a flashing CEL when giving full throttle between 3500->4500rpm in 5th but no error code.
On the way to work this AM the ECU managed to throw a CEL and 2 codes..
P0301 and P0303

The power of SEARCH brings me to many threads saying Neutral Position Switch (NPS), but in many cases it appears to be error codes for misfire on all four cylinders... not just the 2 I have could this still be a NPS with only 2 error codes?

Other posts suggest spark plugs.
I was planning on taking whatever std plug the local Subaru garage recommend... unless there are specific plugs I should be using??

What else should I be looking at???

thanks for your time
Vik

Almost definitely NPS, particularly with that mileage. I had the same issue / codes.
NPS is not expensive and easy to fit on WRX.
Cheaper and quicker to change than a set of plugs.
