What have i done, i've sold the scoob!!??
Just agreed a swap deal on my scoob with a 330d touring!!!!
I love the scoobs performance, handling, looks and sound, but i just hate the running costs!! I do at least 600miles a week and have ended up buying another old car to help cut the miles and petrol bills down, but its just crippling me!!!
I've spent a fortune on my car, and have lost a shed load, but basically the Beemer will be worth the same if not a little more in 3 years time, and definetly easier to sell on with the sort of mileage i put on cars!!
I'm just worried i will end up really regreting selling her, i am almost in tears thinking about handing her over at the weekend!! But my wallet is jumping for joy!!
The old head says one thing, the heart says the other!!

Austen,
Scooby ownership and that flat four rumble is more addictive than heroin - and you can never get clean!!!
You will be back..... Like many I have been round that buoy once before, sold on my scoob becasue of running costs - regretted it for quite a while, bought a house then decided I wanted another scoob.
No looking back this time!!!!
TT

Bought as a demo with 5000 miles for a great price!!
Wish I'd got the Auto though. The manual is nice, but the Auto was lovely.

When I sold my classic scooby and bought a Audi TT, I was gutted, I kept going on ScoobyNet wishing I had another Scooby, Saying to myself everyday that one day I would have another, Then I kept trying to pick faults with the Audi, so that it gave me a excuse to get rid of it, and the excuse was, it wasnt pratical enough and it wasnt big enough, and I didnt enjoy it as much as the scoob, basically it was a boring expensive car with no character.
I was saying the same things as you Austen, That the TT wouldnt lose much money etc, but at the end of the day if you dont enjoy it then whats the point. I enjoy my scooby now, and I would only change it for either the 2006 STi thats coming out or a Evo 9.
