Default Cruise Control

Has anybody any experience of retrofitting Cruise Control to an newage STI?

if possible, what kinda money would i be lookin at and is it something i could do myself?

your insurance will do you up the ar$e.....they dont like them retro fitted one little bit.

leave it and spend your money on something else mate.

ah *****, how the frig does it effect my insurance.

surley is a advantage coz i wont be speeding!??

its because of the posiblity of it going **** up and getting stuck on.

give your insurance a call and see but i have read that certain companies wont touch it . and those that do want to inspect the car before hand

you can still set the cruise to illegal speeds

ah very true.

in fact, my dad had it fitted to his rover tomcat, set it at a steady 75 and then for no reason it would decide 140 was a more comfortable cruising speed and off it went.

but that was 10 years ago, i was hoping thing would have improved by now..
