Theme tune for a Scooby?
#2
Hello,
Imagine you are the producer of Top Gear, you are going to show 60-120 seconds of scoobies doing what scoobies do best (Track,Rally,Road,Tokyo etc) what background music would you choose?
For instance.
A Ferrari would have Opera
a BMW/Merc German Opera
A TVR Could have a classic "Rugger Bugger" anthem like Jeruselem or Prehaps something else like Anarchy in the UK
A Rolls Royce would have to be classical
A Corvette or Viper could have Bruce Springstien
But what would do for a scooby????
I would go for Voodo People by the Produgy (Modern, HiTech and FAST!)

I've thought about this before too and have to say, I kind of like:
Rob base and DJ Easy rock....hit it..woooo...it takes two to make a thing go right.....it takes two to make it outta sight....
sounds seriously good when the scoob is being caned, well that's what I'd use anyway!!

Techno type stuff seems a bit cheesy though...
How about Bartender and the Thief by Stereophonics or The Masses Against the Classes by Manic Street Preachers.
No clever hidden meaning behind these choices just good old fashioned head-banging tunes!

How about 'Turning Japanese' by The Vapours?
The hidden meaning to this song is also apt considering the way some people feel about their Scoobs
Given the current censorship debate I chose not to expand upon the hidden meaning.

Has to be:-
"No stop signs, speed limit. Nobody's gonna slow me down.
Like a wheel, gonna spin it
Nobody's gonna mess me round.
Hey Satan, payed my dues.
Playing in a rocking band
Hey Momma, look at me. I'm on my way to the promised land............"
Works for me
Band and title on a postcard please.....

OK, a bit of a select track, but...
Yngwie J. Malmsteen - "Faster than the speed of light"...it's about driving very fast..."hugging all the corners, hang on for your life!"

The 'net makes these challenges far too easy ;>.
As I fear that the prize may be a copy of the aforementioned song, I'll not answer. Does cheeze have just the one Z?
'nother vote for Voooooodoooo people.

How about the airwolf theme? Scooby wants to fly really... just too many splitters and spoilers holding her to the floor ,
Ian
PS- I decided she was a girl.. as every girl needs a guy to drive them wild
PS- The keyboard is sooo annoying
