I am looking for a new or nearly new turbo saloon after waiting almost three months for an import agency (Sportscarservices, Cowdenbeath) to deliver (we had agreed three weeks, but I hung on and on stupidly). I was going to pay £18000 for Cosmic Blue with A/C and Cat 1 fitted. I have now pulled out of the deal as there was no sure endpoint.
I now need a car. A Subaru dealer has offered me a red MY00 for £19500. I might be able to prise them down to £19000. Any thoughts?
Alternatively, anyone want to sell me their MY00 or 99 UK unmodified not-trackdayed non-thrashed (too badly!) car? Make me an offer below.

Brian Downie of Kemnay near Aberdeen advertises new UK spec cars at around £18k, its also worth trying Sunnyhill Motors in Turriff. Both these places have been supplying these sort of cars for a number of years and have a decent reputation.

The world's your oyster at the mo.....my local dealer ( Robinsons of Rochdale ) has a stack for sale that they are struggling to shift...2 x RB5's both one owner, both MY99 one 7k miles one 18k I was offered the 7k one at £20k 2 months ago and I know they'll take less....buyers market matey, you control the deals.

Thanks guys. I've gone for the Alliance Vehicle Imports deal at £17495 silver + a/c which is a £4700 saving on UK list and £3000 cheaper than the UK dealer as a/c is included. I just hope these guys actually deliver! They are giving me a VIN number today so that is promising and they are saying car in UK on Friday. Shame it's not 555 Blue though...

I bought a MY00 blue with A/C from Holland and got it into this country with VAT paid for just under 15k Sterling. Need to add Cat1 and lack of 2/3rd year warranty, but still a huge saving.

Call Terry on the number below. He had about 6 from Holland. I don't know if he still has any but its worth a try. I think they werea bout 15k. A/C can be had for 980 fitted now here in the UK (just had it done) at a Subaru dealership.

95% sure that I received a flyer from my local Subaru dealer Intermoto advertising that they were selling new MY00 Impreza Turbos for either £18500 or £18995 (can't remember which!).
Spotted an ad from Subaru dealer Gibsons of Brock in this weeks Autocar advertising new MY00 cars at £4000-ish (again, I can't remeber, and I don't have the mag here!) below list. They also said they were 'imports'! Not sure what is going on here.
Hope that vague information helps.
Andrew.
