0-100 STi PPP in-car footage
Has anyone got any in-car footage of an MY04/05 STi with PPP doing a 0-100 sprint ?
I'm thinking of getting one shortly ...
If so please post as I'm interested to see how quick it is ...
Many thanks

sti with ppp should do 0-100 in about 12.5 - 13.5 seconds. ive had a standard sti doing the quarter in 13.87 @ 99 mph, so it should be there or there abouts.

here you go...
very steady turn out from 1st gear, and roll on the power short shifting to 4th too... so not really a good example but you get the idea...

K&N Induction Kit and Scorpion exhaust system (with 4" rear pipe).
See the dyno results here....

As you can see, for a UK Scoob which was originally 208bhp CK1 was a healthy beast despite the simple mods. It was all about getting the right combination, rather than changing everything.

My car did several 13.2 runs at The Pod. Most of the old skool peeps have seen it, Shaun was certainly there on at least one occasion.
I think I went even faster in the Scooby vs Cossie shootout for REVS magazine all those years ago, but I cant remember for sure. On that occasion CK1 also did 0-60 in 4.5secs (timed with Datron timing gear), but then I guess you've never seen an old UK Scoob do that before so that probably isn't possible either!
You'd be surprised how much quicker a proper launch makes you, but a proper launch isn't particularly easy. So I guess the problem lies with the drivers, not the car.

Don't worry though, this afflicts all breeds of performance icons, witness 205 GTI Golf GTI etc now decorating the streets of your nearest council estate ala Chav heaven.

I am quite new on here but all I read about is "Chav this and Chav that". So now Scobbies are getting cheaper and if a young guy can now afford to run one instead of his Nova etc.. he is branded a Chav? There is some complete snobery going on here, why do some of you look down on some young lad who may look like he has just ram raided Halfords in his golf, but never the less he is a car enthuisast (spelling!) weather you like it or not the Scooby is a out and out boy racers car and to most of people, you like the little Chav in his Golf are looked at like a CHAV Boy Racer ( well maybe unless if you have an old wagon!!).
So maybe its time to drop all this crap some people keep spouting on here, oh and as for young chavvy in his old jap classic spoiling the image for every one else, get real, why did you buy the Scooby? yes thats right to go fast.

There is a fair amount of vids there including Tiff Needell's view on the Bug Eye STI v Evo.
