In Japan and Britain, the STi will probably still house the 2.0L, due to racing regulations, or homologation.
Because we have the 2.5L in our STi, we aren't permitted to participate in some racing series because of it. Here, all the 2.5L is good for is for racing Evolutions. Our 2.5L also has cast pistons, compared with the 2.0L's forged pistons that you guys get.

Also wondering about stats, as something doesnt make sense. With a 2.5ltr lump, but same bhp output and 0-60 figures as the MY05 (apparently) how does the extra weight get moved?
